Wrong Turn 2 Soundtrack Album

Thanks to everybody who showed up at the signing last week! Wrong Turn 2 has finally come out on DVD and has been getting incredible reviews. I’m fortunate enough to have gotten a CD release from La La Land Records, which is also now shipping. Autographed copies are available from the label’s website.

The movie is a lot more fun than it has any right to be, considering it’s a straight to DVD sequel. Director Joe Lynch threw blood by the bucket loads and let everyone in the film have fun with it. The music was no exception. Traditional horror score cliches were replaced by fiddles, banjos, accordions, washboards and jugs… the bluegrass band from hell.

Here’s me, kicking the unholy hell out of Joe’s ass at Guitar Hero II. I don’t mean to gloat. I’m really not very good. He just sucks at it, I guess.

CD Signing This Tuesday!

Hey guys and gals,

I’ll be doing a signing next week for the release of my two new albums out this month from La La Land Records: Wrong Turn 2 and the highly-anticipated Battlestar Galactica: Season 3. This event is also kick-starting the release of the Wrong Turn 2 DVD, so director Joe Lynch and several cast-members will also be there.

BG3 / WT2 Album Updates

Wow! I knew it would take me a while to get back to this blog, but I never thought it would be 5 months! After finishing the intense Bob-Dylan-inspired Galactica season finale, I think I needed a little time off. So here’s what’s new…

I will begin scoring the two-hour straight-to-DVD movie, Battlestar Galactica: Razor, next week. I’m looking forward to diving back into the Galactica universe for one last season. And no, I didn’t score the trailers Sci Fi Channel has been running. I’m never involved with any of the promos, even though sometimes they’ll use my score in the ads.

There are some really exciting releases coming up in the next few months. I spent my entire spring and summer working on the new Battlestar Galactica Season Three Soundtrack Album for you guys and it’s finally finished!

Rest Stop Soundtrack Album

Rest Stop Soundtrack Now Shipping!

I actually haven’t seen this week’s episode, Rapture, yet (with all the complete visual and sound effects), so I’ll be watching it on Sunday at the same time as you guys. I’ll offer some insightful tidbits about it in a few days.

However, let me take this opportunity to post something I should’ve done months ago. My soundtrack album for Warner Bros.’ film Rest Stop is finally shipping (from Amazon.com and its now on iTunes too) and Battlestar Galactica fans will really dig it. The album includes my complete score, and three original songs as well.

Diving Into Season Three

Hey BG fans, I just thought I’d let you all know that the beginning of Season 3 truly kicks ass. I’ve started writing music for it and I think it’s safe to say you’ll be blown away. I won’t spoil anything (you have each other for that!) but I will say that the season premiere will air as a two hour movie… more intense than most films you pay to see in the darkened theater.
