Rest Stop

Post by Skating_Lientje »

Because this project didn't have it's own topic (unforgivable) and because Mike aka fadattf was asking about sheet music for the track "Tom and Marilyn" I thought I'd start a topic here.

So, Mike was asking about guitar music for "Tom and Marilyn" from the Rest Stop 2 album.

I've been thinking this over, and I gotta admit, I doubt we'll ever release any tabs for that tune. At least not in the near future.

So, I dug up the old ELECTRIC GUITAR part from the session. Hope this helps! Enjoy...

Bear,

You really are too sweet sometimes.
Thank you so much.
I'm sure Mike is going to have a field day when he gets back to the forum...

Hi Elin, hi Bear!

Sorry, that I haven't been here for a few days.
But what a big suprise. I can't believe what I see here.

I have to say I was hoping that this would happen - but of course I never realy believed that it will happen :P

I think at the weekend I'll have to tune my old electric guitar and give it a try!

Thank you so much and I hope many other people that like that track will be happy and thankfull that you've postet that part of that great song!

Thank you so much!!

I think you owe it to Bear to record yourself after some practice runs and let us enjoy the fruits of your labour.
It's the least you can do  ...

But take your time, no pressure...

Glad the old chart is getting some use. :)

One word of caution, this piece featured a lot of improvisation on the guitar part. So, I'd use the chart as a guide, but try to listen to what the guitarists actually played. I'm sure there are differences in there. Enjoy!
